A First Kiss Between Strangers

It happened one Saturday at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. I’d moved from Atlanta and felt alone and a bit blue. Saturday is a big day for the Market. I decided to cheer myself by mingling with the crowd. Hardly had I arrived when a beautiful woman bumped me.

“I’m sorry, I’m late for work.”

“That’s ok. Do you mind if I walk with you?”

Taking my arm she said, “Not at all.”

My heart soared. “She is so lovely and pure looking.”

“We’re here. This was sweet of you.” We kissed, she went inside.
The sign over the door:
“The Lusty Lady.”
